Child Safety Policy

1. Public Safety Commitment

These standards are published by DAF Consulting Group LLC, operator of Cozi - Video Chat & Date and publisher under the Google Play developer name DAF Consult. They apply worldwide to profiles, discovery, dating, text, audio, images, videos, one-to-one calls, reports, and all other Cozi features.

These standards form part of the Terms of Use and operate with the Privacy Policy.

2. Cozi Is Strictly 18+

Cozi is a dating and video communication service intended only for adults aged 18 and older. A minor may not register, use another person’s account, appear as a participant in a dating or live-call interaction, or be introduced to adult users through Cozi. Users may not misrepresent age or help a minor evade an age restriction.

We may apply age-gating, eligibility review, or reasonable verification measures. When an account is reasonably suspected of minor access, we may immediately limit features, request verification, preserve safety evidence, and close the account.

3. Definitions

Child or minor means any person under 18, even if local law uses a different age for another purpose.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) includes sexual abuse or exploitation of a child, grooming, enticement, sexual solicitation, sextortion, trafficking for sexual purposes, coercion, and facilitating sexual contact with a child.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) means a visual depiction of a child engaged in sexually explicit conduct or depicted in a sexually abusive manner. It can include photos, videos, live streams, drawings, altered media, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery where covered by law or these standards.

4. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Users must not create, request, upload, transmit, stream, store, trade, sell, link to, promote, normalize, or facilitate:

• CSAM or any sexualized depiction of a child;
• grooming, enticement, sexual solicitation, or arranging sexual contact with a child;
• requests for a child to create or share sexual content, including self-generated material;
• sextortion, threats, blackmail, coercion, or humiliation involving a child or a person represented as a child;
• child sex trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or offers to buy, sell, or exchange access to a child;
• sexual role-play in which a participant is represented as a minor;
• instructions for concealing, distributing, or evading detection of CSAE or CSAM; or
• content that identifies, mocks, blames, intimidates, or retaliates against a child victim or reporter.

Claims that content is fictional, humorous, artistic, educational, AI-generated, or created outside Cozi do not excuse prohibited use. Legitimate authorities and qualified organizations must use appropriate secure and legal channels rather than ordinary user features.

5. In-App Reporting and Blocking

Cozi provides an in-app mechanism for user reports. From the relevant profile, conversation, or active or recent call screen:

1. select Report or the safety-menu control;
2. choose Child Safety or the closest available reason;
3. provide a concise written description, username, approximate time, and safe contextual information; and
4. submit the report and use Block to prevent further contact.

A user may report conduct targeting someone else. Reports should be truthful and made in good faith. If the in-app path is unavailable, email hnlengiessohip7@gmail.com.

6. Do Not Copy or Send Suspected CSAM

Do not download, screenshot, record, reproduce, forward, or attach suspected CSAM to an email. Use Cozi’s report control and provide only non-illegal contextual information, such as an account name, profile link, approximate time, and written description.

If a child faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. In the United States, suspected online child sexual exploitation may also be reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline.

7. Review and Enforcement

We prioritize reports based on apparent urgency and risk. We may combine trained human review, automated detection, account history, content, communications metadata, device and network signals, and reporter information. Depending on the facts, we may:

• end a call or restrict discovery, profile, or messaging functions;
• remove or disable access to prohibited content;
• suspend or terminate accounts and prevent repeat registration;
• preserve relevant evidence in an access-controlled form;
• protect victims and reporters from renewed contact or retaliation; and
• report confirmed or apparent CSAM and related conduct to NCMEC or the appropriate regional authority when required or appropriate.

We do not require a criminal conviction before enforcing these product standards. We may act on a reasonable safety assessment while preserving any appeal rights required by law.

8. Compliance and Cooperation

Cozi complies with applicable child-safety laws and responds to valid legal process. We maintain a process to report confirmed or apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or a relevant regional authority. We may make an emergency disclosure when permitted by law and reasonably necessary to address an imminent risk of serious harm.

Government and law-enforcement requests must use lawful channels and identify the requesting authority, legal basis, records sought, and response deadline. We may reject or challenge invalid or overbroad requests.

9. Privacy, Evidence, and Appeals

Safety information is handled under the Privacy Policy. Access is limited to personnel and providers with a legitimate need. Records may be retained to prevent repeat abuse, comply with reporting duties, protect victims, cooperate with authorities, and establish or defend legal claims.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, an adult user may appeal an enforcement decision through in-app support or the contact below. Victim privacy, safety, legal restrictions, and investigative integrity may limit what we can disclose.

10. Safety Program

Our safeguards include an 18+ rule, age and account review, reporting and blocking controls, moderation, risk detection, trained escalation, repeat-offender enforcement, secure evidence handling, and cooperation with qualified authorities. We review these safeguards as threats, technology, law, Google Play requirements, and Cozi features evolve.

11. Changes to These Standards

We may update these standards to address new risks, laws, or product features. The current public page will show its effective date. An update does not prevent action against conduct that violated a prior version or applicable law.

12. Designated Child Safety Contact

Google Play, competent authorities, and users may use this channel for child-safety notices or policy questions. Never attach or reproduce suspected CSAM.
